Dr. Michael Nicholas is a researcher in ICCT's electric vehicle program. He is currently conducting research on electric vehicle markets and infrastructure. Emphases include charger usage, location, and pricing as well as the role of utilities in the transition to vehicle electrification. He additionally focuses on the market for electric vehicles and the effect of incentives, infrastructure and policies to grow the market. Michael previously worked as a Professional Researcher at the University of California, Davis and holds a Ph.D. in Transportation Technology and Policy from the Institute of Transportation Studies at the University of California, Davis.
