André Cieplinski is a Heavy-Duty Vehicles Researcher at the ICCT. André contributes to policy and technical research focused on the deployment of zero emission vehicles in Brazil. Prior to joining the ICCT André was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa (Italy), developing ecological economics and electricity market simulation models. He holds a PhD in economics from the joint program of the Universities of Siena, Pisa and Florence (Italy), an M.A. from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and a B.A. from the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
