As a communication specialist, Kartik is responsible for helping ICCT with the communication and outreach efforts in India.

Kartik has over eight years of journalism experience with organizations such as the Hindustan Times and The Indian Express. He was among the winners of the 2021 International Centre for Journalists (ICFJ) and World Health Organization (WHO) Road Safety Reporting Contest.

Kartik has a post-graduate diploma in journalism from The Indian Express media school, prior to which he graduated with a bachelor’s degree in History from Sri Venkateswara College, Delhi University.
