Samantha Pettigrew is an Associate Researcher for ICCT’s Latin America team. Samantha’s work revolves around the electrification of heavy-duty vehicles and bus fleets in the region, with a current emphasis on Chile and Colombia. She previously spent two years as ICCT’s Communication Associate where she served as Latin America publications coordinator, editor, and a member of the website development team. Samantha holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Language and International Trade from Clemson University. She also holds a diploma in Impact Evaluation of Public Programs and Policy from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, where she resided for five years. During her time in Santiago, she worked for Stanford University and conducted research on the capital city’s public transportation systems. Samantha works in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
