Samantha Pettigrew is an Associate Researcher for ICCT’s Latin America team. Samantha works on electrification and fuel efficiency policies for light- and heavy-duty vehicles in Chile and other Latin American countries. She is also a member of ICCT’s equity cluster, which aims to advance equity through public and private transportation initiatives. Samantha previously worked on ICCT’s communications team, where she served as Latin America publications coordinator, transportpolicy.net editor, and was a member of the website development team. Samantha holds a Master of Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Language and International Trade from Clemson University. She also has a diploma in Impact Evaluation of Public Programs and Policy from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in Santiago, where she resided for five years. While in Santiago, she worked for Stanford University and researched the capital city’s public transportation systems. Samantha works in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
