The International Council on Clean Transportation welcomes Gwen Spencer as Board Member
(Washington, D.C.) July 22, 2025 — The International Council on Clean Transportation (ICCT) is pleased to announce the appointment of Gwen Spencer as Member to the Board of Directors.
Gwen Spencer is a retired Partner at PwC with over 27 years of experience advising leading healthcare systems, academic medical centers, and research organizations. During her tenure, she served on PwC’s northeast senior leadership team and led high-performing teams nationwide, advancing strategic priorities in governance, finance, and organizational effectiveness.
“Gwen has already made valuable contributions to the ICCT as a Board Advisor, and we’re thrilled to welcome her now as a Board Member,” shared Anthony Eggert, ICCT Board Chair.
Gwen led major Corporate Responsibility initiatives that generated over $11 million in employee giving and secured $3 million in nonprofit grant funding, reinforcing PwC’s commitment to community impact. She currently serves on the national board of the American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network, where she is a member of the Audit and Finance Committee. Gwen is also the most recent past Chair of the Board of the American Cancer Society of Eastern New England, where she was honored with the 2024 St. George National Award for her strategic leadership. She holds a CPA, Juris Doctor, and Master of Laws, reflecting deep expertise in both financial and legal matters.
