Request for Proposals: Quantifying the environmental justice impacts of zero-emission vehicles

Summary

This request for proposals (RFP) seeks an experienced consulting group, individual, or consortium with demonstrated expertise in environmental justice and zero-emission vehicles to collaborate with and conduct original research for the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance. The proposed project would include engagement with the ZEV Alliance and leading environmental justice stakeholders and a new high-quality technical report with cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative research. Beyond synthesizing insights from impacted communities and policy developments around the world, a unique value-add of this project is the chance to offer recommendations to leading policymakers on how to realize the potential opportunities for zero-emission vehicles to mitigate environmental and social disparities. Budget

The maximum bid for the proposed work is US$60,000 (total, including all taxes and fees). Bids exceeding this amount will be not be eligible.

Timeframe

This project, based on an established schedule of the ZEV Alliance governments, will be done from March through November of 2022 (see details in the RFP document).

Proposal deadline

Proposals must be received by March 10, 2022 (11:59pm Pacific US time). Late proposals will not be considered. If potential bidders express initial interest in submitting a proposal by March 1, the secretariat will email any potential updates to this Request for Proposals. The secretariat may answer or ask clarification questions but is not obligated to respond to inquiries.
