Revisions to the EU ETS set a global model for sustainable aviation fuel investment

The EU introduced a re-investment mechanism to reduce the cost gap between sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and fossil jet fuel using funds from the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS). This scheme sets an example for other regions seeking to incentivize SAF that delivers the biggest climate benefit.
