Alexander Tankou is a Researcher whose work focuses on zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) incentive design, battery supply chains, and ensuring that the ZEV transition is global and equitable. In addition to his research duties, Alexander supports the ICCT’s roles as the Secretariat for the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance, a coalition of governments committed to transitioning to zero-emission vehicles; and the Zero-Emission Vehicle Transition Council, a partnership that aims to accelerate the pace of the Zero-Emission Vehicle transition globally. Alexander holds an M.S. in Energy and Climate Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Pennsylvania State University.
