Alexander Tankou
Associate Researcher
Alexander Tankou is an Associate Researcher on ICCT's Electric Vehicles team. Since joining, his work has focused on electric vehicle incentive design and infrastructure planning. Prior to ICCT, he served as a research analyst at the World Resources Institute, specializing in ClimateWatch, an online open data platform that provides insights on national and global climate change progress. He also supported one of the Institute's research initiatives to guide governments in designing more ambitious and equitable climate actions. Alexander holds an M.S. in Energy and Climate Policy from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Energy and Environmental Engineering from Pennsylvania State University. When he’s not working, Alexander enjoys exploring the food scene in Washington, D.C. You can also find him jogging, biking, or playing soccer around town.
