Dawn M. Martin is the Executive Vice President and Chief Program Officer for Ceres. She provides strategic oversight of Ceres’ campaigns and initiatives that drive solutions to the climate crisis, water scarcity and pollution, deforestation, and efforts to build a just and inclusive economy. Ms. Martin also oversees government relations, innovation and evaluation, and Ceres’ Company, Investor, and Policy Networks. Prior to Ceres, Ms. Martin served as the Associate Deputy Administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Clinton-Gore Administration. During her tenure, Ms. Martin worked closely with its Office of Transportation and Air Quality on programs to reduce air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from mobile sources, establishing national standards to advance clean fuels and technology to minimize emissions, and was recognized with several gold medals and other awards for her accomplishments. She holds a JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, a certificate in international human rights and humanitarian law, and a BA in political science and business administration from Loyola Marymount University.
