Xi Chen
Senior Development Manager

Xi Chen joined the ICCT in April 2018 as the Institutional Giving Manager and is responsible for securing and managing the organization’s annual revenue from American and international foundations and government sources. Xi joined the ICCT from the United Way Worldwide where, as Director of Investor Relations for Greater China Region, he successfully drove the organization’s expansion in the region and led fundraising and partnership development. Prior to his philanthropic journey, Xi worked for Sony and several other for-profit organizations. As an engineer, he joined China’s first electric bus project from 1995–1998. Xi holds a B.S. in Vehicle Engineering from the Beijing Institute of Technology and a Master’s degree in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University.
