Impacts and mitigation of excess diesel NOx emissions in 11 major vehicle markets

A new study published online May 15 in the journal Nature quantifies the global health and environmental burden of real-world diesel NOx emissions in 11 major vehicle markets. The study found that more than 174,000 premature deaths from diesel vehicles could be avoided in 2040 with next generation vehicle emission standards, nearly eliminating excess diesel NOx emissions. Join us for a global webinar with the study authors to gain a deeper understanding of the motivation for this work, the approach, and the major findings. Webinar participants will have the opportunity to ask questions of each of the co-authors.
