Request for proposals: Moving zero-emission freight toward commercialization

Summary

This request for proposals seeks an experienced consulting group, individual, or consortium with demonstrated expertise in zero-emission freight and medium- and heavy-duty vehicles to collaborate with and conduct original research for the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance. The proposed project would include engagement with the ZEV Alliance and a new high-quality technical report with cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative research. Beyond synthesizing policy, technological, and commercial developments around the world, a unique value-add of this project is to use this analysis to offer recommendations to policymakers to accelerate the transition to zero-emission freight. Budget

The maximum bid for the proposed work is $60,000 (total, including all taxes and fees). Bids exceeding this amount will not be eligible.

Timeframe

This project, based on an established schedule of the ZEV Alliance governments, will be done from March through October of 2020 (see details in the RfP document).

Proposal deadline

Proposals must be received by February 18, 2020 (11:59pm Pacific US time). Late proposals will not be considered. If potential bidders express initial interest in submitting a proposal by February 10, the secretariat will email any potential updates to this Request for Proposals.
