Request for proposals
Request for proposals: Moving zero-emission freight toward commercialization
This request for proposals seeks an experienced consulting group, individual, or consortium with demonstrated expertise in zero-emission freight and medium- and heavy-duty vehicles to collaborate with and conduct original research for the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance. The proposed project would include engagement with the ZEV Alliance and a new high-quality technical report with cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative research. Beyond synthesizing policy, technological, and commercial developments around the world, a unique value-add of this project is to use this analysis to offer recommendations to policymakers to accelerate the transition to zero-emission freight. The downloadable RFP provides details and guidance on the preparation of application materials.
The maximum bid for the proposed work is $60,000 (total, including all taxes and fees). Bids exceeding this amount will not be eligible.
This project, based on an established schedule of the ZEV Alliance governments, will be done from March through October of 2020 (see details in the RfP document).
Proposals must be received by February 18, 2020 (11:59pm Pacific US time). Late proposals will not be considered. If potential bidders express initial interest in submitting a proposal by February 10, the secretariat will email any potential updates to this Request for Proposals.
Please send submission materials (1) the proposal in Word of 5-8 pages, (2) the principal investigator’s curriculum vitae of up to 3 pages, and (3) contact information for two professional references to [email protected]. The secretariat may answer or ask clarification questions but is not obligated to respond to inquiries.
