Dinh-Son Tran joined the ICCT in May 2021 as a Research Consultant based in Hanoi, Vietnam. His work includes vehicle technology and policy research to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and air pollution from two-wheelers and light-duty vehicles in Vietnam. Dinh-Son has an engineering degree from the Department of Transportation and Engineering of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST, Vietnam). Dinh-Son is expected to graduate from HUST in 2022 with a master’s degree in Fluid Power and Automation Engineering. His degree research is focused on pneumatic systems, and he also works at HUST as a Research Teaching Assistant.
