Irem Kok
Researcher
Irem Kok is a researcher on light-duty electric vehicles at the ICCT. Her research focuses on local and national policies driving electric vehicle adoption and charging infrastructure deployment. Her work supports cities in the C40 network and the Zero Emission Vehicle Transition Council in tracking the global progress towards zero-emission mobility.
Irem holds a PhD and MSc in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford, where she worked as a researcher at the Sustainable Finance Programme. She was previously a research consultant for RethinkX’s future of transport project and European Climate Foundation, concentrating on energy finance and electric vehicles.
