Megha Kumar is a policy expert with 14 years of professional experience in the transport sector, specializing in air quality improvement and decarbonization across South Asia. Her expertise spans both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including technology assessment, cost analysis, and energy, energy and emissions estimations. Megha has previously worked with leading organizations such as the World Bank, GIZ, the Canadian Urban Transit Research & Innovation Consortium (CUTRIC), and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and with ICCT since 2019 to 2022. She recently submitted her doctoral research at McGill University, Montreal, which examines equity in public transport systems in Indian cities. In addition, Megha serves as a visiting faculty member at the Transport Department, School of Planning and Architecture.
