CO2 emissions from trucks in the European Union: An analysis of the 2021 reporting period
Vehicle efficiency
Improvements in vehicle efficiency hold the greatest potential for meeting transport decarbonization goals by 2050 and could account for more than half the needed emission reductions. This applies to light and heavy road vehicles, ships, and aircraft. ICCT researchers explore and assess efficiency technologies and fuels across all modes of transportation.
