Namita Singh is a Researcher based in India. At ICCT, she focuses on emission model analysis to inform policy actions for the energy and environmental impacts of the transportation fleet. Her research interests include emission modeling, air quality and its health impacts, and cost-benefit analysis. Namita received her Ph.D. in IDP Climate Studies from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay. Her dissertation focused on developing an emission inventory framework and analyzing mitigation policy scenarios for the road transport sector of India. She holds a Master of Technology from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and a Master of Science in Chemistry from M.S University of Baroda. Her previous experiences include academic research for the Rajasthan State Action Plan (Transport Sector) and teaching assistance for the National Programme on Technology Enhanced Learning (NPTEL), a project funded by the Government of India.
