Auto Fuel Policy Roadmap for India – What Next?

Following the submission of the Saumitra Chaudhari committee report on Auto Fuel Vision and Policy, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG) is yet to announce a roadmap for BS VI emission standards. So, while the pathway to BS IV standards is clear in India, the outlook beyond 2017 is still unclear. In this webinar, we will take a stock of changes on vehicle emission standards and fuel quality in India in the past couple of years, and consider the possibility of leapfrogging from BS IV standards in 2017 to BS VI standards in 2020.
