Real-world usage of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles: Fuel consumption, electric driving, and CO2 emissions
Plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) combine an electric and a combustion engine drive train. They offer noteworthy potential to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions and local air pollution if they are driven mainly on electricity.
This webinar will assess the real-world fuel consumption and CO2 emissions of plug-in hybrid electric vehicles in China, North America, and Europe, with a focus on Germany. Panelists at the webinar will present new evidence based on the real-world usage and fuel consumption of approximately 100,000 PHEVs. In addition, the presenters will suggest policy recommendations to increase electric usage of PHEVs.
