Jefferson Hishiyama da Silva
Associate Researcher
Jefferson is an Associate Researcher based in São Paulo. He supports policy and technical research on the heavy-duty vehicle program with a focus on electric buses. Before joining the ICCT, Jefferson worked on urban transportation planning and road infrastructure consulting projects in Brazil. He holds a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Tokyo (Japan), a M.Sc. in Transportation from the University of Brasília, and a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Paraná (Brazil).
