Clean urban bus fleets — Industry partnership and city action

ICCT Clean Air Program Lead Ray Minjares will present on the recent activities of the CCAC Soot-Free Urban Bus Fleets Project, including the Global Industry Partnership on Soot Free Clean Bus Fleets new recommendations for financing soot-free urban bus fleets, and new research showing the lifecycle climate benefits of soot-free engine technology.

Mexico City officials Beatriz Cardenas Gonzalez of SEDEMA and Erika Kulpa of SEMOVI will share their experience as a participating city in the Soot Free Urban Bus Fleets project and their work with the C40 Cities Finance Facility in developing a zero-emissions bus corridor which will include a fleet of new generation electric buses, a first in Mexico City.
