Request for Proposals: Understanding the business case for charging infrastructure
This request for proposals (RFP) seeks an experienced consulting group, individual, or consortium with demonstrated expertise in electric vehicle charging to collaborate with and conduct original research for the International Zero-Emission Vehicle Alliance. The proposed project would include a high-quality report with cutting-edge qualitative and quantitative research as well as an interactive tool to evaluate the cost and revenue for public heavy-duty vehicle charging. Beyond synthesizing insights from leading markets and policy developments around the world, a unique value-add of this project is the chance to offer recommendations to leading policymakers on how maximize the impact of their investments in charging and create a framework for greater investment in charging infrastructure. The maximum bid for the proposed work is US$60,000 (total, including all taxes and fees). Bids exceeding this amount will be not be eligible.
This project, based on an established schedule of the ZEV Alliance governments, will be done from April through November of 2022 (see details in the RFP document).
Proposals must be received by March 13, 2023 (11:59pm Pacific US time). Late proposals will not be considered. If potential bidders express initial interest in submitting a proposal by March 1, the Secretariat will email any potential updates to this Request for Proposals. The secretariat may answer or ask clarification questions but is not obligated to respond to inquiries.
