Gonca Seber
Researcher
Gonca is a Researcher on ICCT’s Fuels team. Her research focuses on life cycle assessment (LCA) of greenhouse gas emissions from transportation fuels and techno-economic assessment (TEA) of biofuel production pathways. Prior to joining the ICCT, Gonca worked in these areas at the Environmental Economics Research Group at Hasselt University (UHasselt, Belgium) and in the Laboratory for Aviation and the Environment (LAE) at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. While at UHasselt, she conducted LCA for sustainable aviation fuels and contributed to the development of ICAO’s CORSIA framework as an expert nominated by the United States. Gonca holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
