Shiyue Mao holds a joint M.S. degree in Environmental Management from the Technical University of Denmark and the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, China. He is responsible for ICCT analysis of HDV-related topics in China and other regions. Before joining ICCT, Shiyue worked with the Innovation Center for Energy and Transportation (iCET), The Nature Conservancy, Clean Air Asia, and Greenpeace East Asia. He also has experience with HDV vehicle efficiency analysis and trends, as well as real-world fuel consumption data for passenger vehicles in China.
