Ana Beatriz is a Researcher on ICCT’s Aviation team and is based in the São Paulo office. Her work focuses on assessing the climate impact of commercial aviation and on developing related decarbonization policies. Within the ICCT, she has previously worked with the Heavy-Duty and Light-Duty Vehicles teams, contributing with technical and policy analysis to support the adoption of clean vehicles in Brazil. Ana is pursuing a PhD in Aeronautical Infrastructure at the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Brazil), where she does research on airline operations and air transportation economics. She holds an M.S. in Aeronautical Infrastructure Engineering from the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (Brazil), a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará (Brazil), and a diplôme d’ingénieur in General Engineering from Ecole Centrale Marseille (France) as part of a double degree program.
