André Cieplinski is a Heavy-Duty Vehicles Senior Researcher at the ICCT. André contributes to policy and technical research focused on the deployment of zero emission vehicles in Brazil. Prior to joining the ICCT André was a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Economics and Management of the University of Pisa (Italy), developing ecological economics and electricity market simulation models. He holds a PhD in economics from the joint program of the Universities of Siena, Pisa and Florence (Italy), an M.A. from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and a B.A. from the University of São Paulo (Brazil).
