Daniela Mortari is a researcher at the ICCT office in São Paulo, where she contributes to technical and policy research on the heavy-duty vehicle program. Prior to joining ICCT, she worked on indoor air quality in residential buildings at CEREMA in France. As a postdoctoral researcher, she conducted studies on solid fuel combustion, focusing on emissions and residues formation at the University of Nottingham (UK) and at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). She holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Center for Thermal and Fluid Engineering at the University of São Paulo and a Bachelor’s degree in Exact Sciences, with a specialization in Chemistry, from the University of São Paulo.
