Hongyang Cui is a Senior Researcher on the ICCT China team, with expertise in electric vehicle technology and policy. His work serves two primary goals: to support China accelerate the transition to electric vehicles to meet clean air and decarbonization targets and to disseminate China’s vehicle electrification lessons to the global market. He additionally focuses on cost-benefit analysis of various types of clean transportation policies. Hongyang holds a B.Eng. in Vehicle Engineering and an M.S. in Atmospheric Science, both from Tsinghua University (China).
